We are showcasing the B&O PLAY portfolio by incorporating a unique installation concept at Dover Street Market New York based on an experiential workshop featuring craftsmanship, high quality materials and sensory applications.
“We are huge fans of B&O PLAY at Dover Street Market. They are leaders not only in sound technology but also design. We first worked together through our sound artist Calx Vive on a permanent sound installation she created for DSM Ginza in Tokyo featuring Beolit 12 speakers placed throughout the store. This project completely transformed the audio experience in an incredible way,” says James Gilchrist, General Manager at DSMNY, and continues “We were so impressed that we wanted to do something in the New York shop. This will be the first electronics
installation we’ve done and Calx Vive will be curating the sound content so the listener can experience the range of fidelity of the B&O PLAY line – I can’t think of a better company to work with on this installation.”
The installation will be on display until July 8th 2015.
The B&O PLAY workshop at Dover Street Market New York provides an immersive, sensory experience and depicts Scandinavian heritage and high quality craftsmanship at its best. It highlights acoustic sound engineering and industrial design processes. Enjoy!
