We're celebrating our fourth birthday!
In 1925 in a Danish countryside town called Struer, two friends, Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen teamed up to start a small company. Operating out of Bang's parents' attic they started producing audio and radio technology. We probably don't need to tell you everything that happened in the following 90 years (a lot happened) but the short version is that B&O became synonymous with innovative, iconic modern design and excellent sound quality. Along the way there's been many experiments, many changes and many successes – we're a company that's very proud of its history as well as always trying to keep our eyes forward, looking at all the potential futures ahead.
Fast forward to January 2012 and the newest member of the Bang & Olufsen family is born: B&O PLAY – delivering the most precise and excellent sound quality with elegant design; continuing the traditions of B&O into the 21st century with a range of high quality mobile, wireless headphones and speakers.
In the past four years we've launched a number of new product lines and variants, keeping up with the rapidly changing world and the needs of its music lovers – those listeners who constitute some of the most dynamic creative movers out there.
Here you can see just a few of the products that we're proud of: our BeoLit15 speaker, H6 headphones, and the A9 and A2 speakers. All of them deliver high quality and intricately detailed sound and stunning design, looking and sounding beautiful wherever you place them or take them. We hope these products become more like portable works of art, these geometric beauties travelling with you wherever you go.
