Silas Adler is the co-founder and designer of the hyped Danish fashion brand Soulland.
We’ve followed Silas in the days leading up to and during Copenhagen Fashion Week – and in the portrait we’ve done, you’ll get a closer look at what Soulland is all about.
Silas Adler is a 28-year-old, self-taught Danish designer who started out by making t-shirts in high school for himself and all of his friends. They were all skateboarding at the time, but when Silas hurt his ankle and had to quit the boards because of his injury, he immersed himself in the designs instead. So much that he actually dropped out of high school to go “all in” with his company.
Fast forward 10 years and Soulland is sold worldwide at some of the most fashionable shops you’d imagine, they’re featured prominently in both the New York Times and Monocle – and their clothes are worn by global superstars like Jay-Z, David Beckham and Frank Ocean.
